In a bid to tackle graffiti and vandalism, Hull City Council is embarking on a trial to redesign some of the city’s most targeted signal control boxes by covering them in artwork created
by local artists. Longlisted for World Illustration Awards 2021!
Decorative Interventions, Beverley Road
The patterned designs were sourced directly from the historic Beverley Road as an extension of the Doorstep project. Muted colour palettes were retained to stay sympathetic to the area and compliment their surroundings.
